Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 has been rather disappointing on a few fronts, especially with certain characters like Sarada Uchiha. She has been sidelined in the manga for quite some time, and it seemed like she was finally getting the chance to shine. Given that she is the daughter of one of the strongest Uchiha clan members, she has a ton of potential.
In the past, the fanbase had plenty of complaints with regards to the treatment of Sarada’s character. Fans had high hopes when the Two Blue Vortex manga chapters were released since they gave plenty of characters a fresh start.
However, the latest chapter undid all the progress that the past 10 chapters had made, reducing Sarada to a “damsel in distress” trope. This is an example of how a character with good potential was wasted by not allowing her to shine when the stage was set up for her.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 ruins Sarada’s character development by bringing Boruto to her fight
One thing that the manga did exceptionally well was introduce the new antagonists, the Shinju. Every Divine Tree entity in this case picked a target of their own, and the manga hinted at the possibility of deuteragonists getting a fight of their own. One of the most interesting potential fights involved Sarada Uchiha and Hidari.
She also developed her Mangekyou Sharingan, which gave fans a glimmer of hope. The build-up was perfect, and watching Sarada take on Hidari was something that fans looked forward to. However, the manga chapter showed that the protagonist intervened. She was well-equipped to put up a fight and potentially defeat Hidari as well. Ever since the time skip took place, we haven’t seen Sarada’s abilities.
Every shinobi became extremely powerful and showcased their growth. Himawari even became a Nine-Tailed Beast Jinchuriki and is currently fighting Jura, who nearly killed Inojin. However, Sarada was “saved” once again, and this time fans are enraged with how her character was treated. Here’s how the fanbase reacted to Sarada and Jura’s fight being interrupted by Boruto.
How fans reacted to the fight being interrupted by Boruto
"Sarada gets saved by boruto in every arc now. It was good up untill i noticed how the writers never mutually balanced them out. Sarada either be completely absent or be a plot for boruto only. Nothing of her own. It ruins their own dynamic for me that i really loved," said one fan.
"Wait for her MS.." They can make her the next goku. But power up will never equal to good writing. The author really be eating every plot potential she ever had," said another.
"she's full of potential yet wasted," said another netizen.
Fans realized that Sarada's potential had been wasted with the way chapter 11 of the series has been handled. Sarada also managed to activate her Mangekyou Sharingan in the manga series, which has been underutilized, to say the least. Boruto's intervention wasn't particularly welcomed by the fanbase of the series.
"A lot of this is simply impatience. We are BARELY into this manga," noted one fan.
"It's easy to stop reading manga with authors who don't know how to write women, this franchise has always been like this," said one fan.
"chill it only 11 chapters" bro the last time Sarada was cooking was in Boro arc(if i remember correctly)," said one netizen.
A small section of the fanbase felt that the fanbase as a whole was being impatient. However, halting the progress of the character when there is potential is an error from the writer's standpoint. Netizens called them out for this and also highlighted how the writers have not fairly treated female characters in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
