Sarada Uchiha is a very prominent character in the Boruto manga series and has several achievements. Nevertheless, due to events that saw the protagonist save her, many fans view her as a "damsel in distress character," i.e., a young woman who gets in trouble and needs a man's help.

While the said character trope is inaccurate when it comes to Sarada, with the development surrounding her in the manga, it does not seem like manga creator Masashi Kishimoto will ever get past the accusations.

With the alleged spoilers for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11, fans anticipated a Sarada to fight Hidari one-on-one. However, the fight was soon interrupted by Boruto, ruining Sarada's time to shine.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 sees Boruto interrupting the Sarada vs. Hidari fight

The alleged spoilers for chapter 11 saw Konohamaru, Sarada, Sumire, and other Shinobi cornering God Tree Hidari in the Hidden Leaf Village. While they wished to learn more about the God Tree and his connection to Sasuke Uchiha, Hidari knew nothing about himself. Hence, he wished to devour Sarada, his target, to obtain more information.

Thus, right after some discussion, Hidari began attacking the Shinobi. He first shocked Sarada and fought Konohamaru using his Claw techniques and Chidori. Fortunately, Konohamaru evaded Hidari's attack. Right after, Hidari shocked Sumire and got hold of Sarada to devour her. Just then, Boruto appeared at their location using the Flying Raijin technique and slashed Hidari's arm, which was holding Sarada.

As evident from the alleged spoilers, while fans wished to witness Sarada's fight against Hidari, the manga completely ignored fans' wishes and saw Sarada get knocked down from the beginning of the fight. Even later, the manga snatched that opportunity away from her when Sarada could have had a moment to shine against Hidari.

This is because when Hidari got hold of Sarada, the manga could have shown Sarada her moment to shine during her possible one-on-one conversation with the God Tree. Instead, the manga saw the protagonist arriving to rescue her, interrupting Sarada Uchiha's opportunity to speak to Hidari one-on-one.

Hence, Boruto effectively ruined Sarada's moment to shine, as had he not arrived to rescue her, she could have had her long-awaited moment in the solo fight against Hidari.

Fans have eagerly looked forward to witnessing Sarada's progress since the end of the prequel manga. However, every time Sarada gets cornered, she is rescued by the protagonist. This was terrible for Sarada's character development as she could never prove herself.

If fans remember, the end of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga saw Sarada obtain her Mangekyo Sharingan. Nevertheless, she has yet to be thrown into a situation where she gets forced to activate and use them. Thus, as long as the manga sees the protagonist save Sarada, fans' opportunity to witness the character use her Mangekyo Sharingan will be delayed.

Hence, unless manga creator Masashi Kishimoto has even better plans for the character, Sarada should have fought Hidari alone and not been rescued by the protagonist.
