As fans might remember, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations ended with Sarada Uchiha unlocking her Mangekyo Sharingan. Since then, fans have been looking forward to seeing the young Uchiha showcase her newly acquired powers in the sequel, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, but to no avail.

That said, fans may have something even bigger to rejoice about as one Boruto fan found hints left by Studio Pierrot in the Boruto anime that may have hinted at Sarada's end-of-series powers, While the individual hints may be too meager, one cannot deny that collectively, they suggest Sarada ultimately attaining Kaguya Otsutsuki's Rinne Sharingan.

Sarada's association with rabbits in Boruto anime may have foreshadowed her end-of-series powers

The first hint at Sarada Uchiha attaining Kaguya Otsutsuki's Rinne Sharingan power is in the anime's first opening theme video. Close to the end of the theme song video, the anime flashed the word "BORUTO" thrice. All three instances had a different theme. While the first and third instances followed a Karma and Sage Mode theme, indicating Boruto and Mitsuki's respective powers, the second showed a Rinne Sharingan.

As fans would know, no character in the anime has the Rinne Sharingan, thus it is not a power that someone possesses but has to be one that a character will attain in the future. Given that the other two screens hint at Boruto and Mitsuki's powers, the three screens had to have hinted at the powers possessed by all three Team 7 members in the future. Thus, the second screen must have hinted at Sarada's powers.

The second but most prevalent hint at Sarada attaining Kaguya's powers is her association with rabbits in the anime. As fans would know, Kaguya was worshipped as the Rabbit Goddess. Hence, considering that the anime has associated Sarada with rabbits on more than four occasions, there has to be some connection between the two.

It is true that the anime has also seen Sumire Kakei being associated with a rabbit, but her connection was already associated with Kaguya through the Gozu Tenno. The Gozu Tenno is a fuinjutsu developed by Tanuki Shigaraki under orders from Danzo Shimura. It is a technique that came close to replicating Kaguya Otsutsuki's secret techniques.

Surprisingly, Sarada and Sumire are the only two humans who have remained immune to Eida's Omnipotence Shinjutsu.

The final hint at Sarada possibly attaining Kaguya Otsutsuki's Rinne Sharingan power came from an official anime art that was published around April 2023. The art featured Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, Mitsuki, Kawaki, Boruto, and Sarada wearing jackets.

As one could notice, the symbols on everyone's jackets have a meaning linked to their character or their powers. Naruto's jacket had Kurama on it, Sasuke's had Susanoo, Sakura's had cherry blossoms, Hinata's had Twin Lions, and Mitsuki's had snakes.

As for Kawaki's jacket, it featured three goldfish on top of the Konoha symbol design. During the time Kawaki was being mistreated by his father and Jigen, he was like a goldfish stuck inside a bowl. However, after going to Konoha, he started experiencing freedom.

As for Boruto's jacket, it featured two Japanese Gods, Raijin and Fujin. This was a spoiler for the Two Blue Vortex manga as both of the protagonist's new jutsu have been based on the same. The Flying Raijin jutsu, as expected, is derived from Raijin. Meanwhile, Rasengan Uzuhiko is inspired by the God of Wind, Fujin.

However, in Sarada's case, the jacket features the Uchiha symbol on the background with cherry blossoms on either side. These are clear indications of her connection with her parents. As for the center of the design, it features a rabbit. Given how the designs have hinted at the characters' powers, it cannot be a coincidence that Sarada's jacket design features a rabbit for aesthetic purposes.

Hence, considering how much Sarada is associated with rabbits and the reference to the Rinne Sharingan in the first opening theme video, one can theorize that fans could see Sarada attain the Rinne Sharingan in the future.
