Sasuke Uchiha is the deuteragonist while Naruto Uzumaki is the protagonist of the series, and their chakra reserves in Naruto have a lot of differences due to which their positions in the anime series are not the same. However, things might not be what they seem as the Uchiha deuteragonist could be holding back his potential since the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War.

During the war, Sasuke's performance showcased how potent his chakra output was with his teleportation jutsu and other jutsu techniques. While it took Obito and Sakura their all to open a portal for some time, Uchiha deuteragonist attempted this act numerous times in Boruto without any effect on his body, which could be an indicator that his chakra reserve is the same as the protagonist.

Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha were introduced in the first episode/chapter of the series. Both had the potential to become the strongest shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village and had a rivalry between them to boost the competition to become the strongest shinobi.

Unfortunately, feeling weak, the Uchiha deuteragonist had to leave the side of his friends and join Orochimaru in the pursuit of power. This was the point where both of them perfected their techniques as much as possible to utilize their chakra output as much as possible.

The protagonist had the Nine-Tails beast to control which would later become the source of 'infinite' chakra for him. However, while it was not in control, the protagonist would often go out of control and harm others without any realization. So, to control the tailed beast inside him, the protagonist resorted to learning the Sage Mode.

Later receiving the Sage chakra during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Naruto Uzumaki became, arguably, the strongest shinobi in the world who had planetary potential. On the other hand, the Uchiha deuteragonist also didn't hold back anything.

Where he had the responsibility of awakening his Sharingan, into the Magekyou Sharingan, he also had to control Orochimaru's chakra so that he wouldn't take over the Uchiha deuteragonist. Now, being the deuteragonist of the series, was the Uchiha deuteragonist's chakra reserve in Naruto less than the protagonist?

The protagonist had some chakra-potent jutsu techniques, especially the ones that utilized the Nine-Tails chakra. On the other hand, the Uchiha deuteragonist's techniques could be considered less chakra-potent, but one of his techniques makes his chakra output unbelievably high.

After getting the Six Paths chakra, the Uchiha deuteragonist was granted the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan not only granted him visual prowess but also granted him the ability to travel in different time spaces through teleportation. While this teleportation might seem like an easy technique, it requires an extraordinary level of chakra.

This is evident from the time during the Fourth Great Ninja War when Kaguya sent the Uchiha deuteragonist to another time-space. Obito and Sakura combined their strength to call him back but their bodies were drained over just opening a pathway to a few dimensions.

As the Uchiha deuteragonist had utilized this technique numerous times in the Boruto series, this was proof that he had a highly potent chakra output, which could be equal to the protagonist's.
