Senpai Is an Otokonoko episode 3 began with Makoto’s mother asking if he’s still into girly things. Makoto lied to her and said he wasn’t and that it was Saki’s handkerchief. This led to a flashback sequence highlighting how Makoto had to hide his love for “girly” things from his mother.

This revealed that she found his stash and, when going to confront him, found him trying on a skirt, calling him twisted after. Makoto asked his dad what to do, who in turn asked if he wanted to become a girl, to which Makoto said he didn’t know.

His dad then got Makoto into a high school, which would help him attend as his preferred gender. He also said he’d handle his mother, encouraging Makoto to try it if it interested him.

In the present, Makoto said it was time to get rid of his habits. The next day, Makoto went to school dressed as a boy, which caused a commotion. Saki immediately recognized that he was lying about being done with his habits, which Ryuji also seemed to suspect.

In the week since others have become more social with him, but he has stopped seeing Saki. She asked him to walk home together one day, still claiming he was lying. After saying he wasn’t, he then asked Saki out so he could be a “normal boy.”

However, Saki rejected it and began crying, saying that he was lying and she just wanted the truth. The next day, Ryuji spoke with Saki, with the pair agreeing he was hiding his true feelings.

Makoto, meanwhile, was being asked to dance at the Founding Party with some girls. This led him to think about wearing the dress he bought, but he second-guessed it. He also cleaned out his locker at school with his girly things.

As he pondered, throwing out Saki’s handkerchief, he realized his true feelings. The episode ended with Makoto finding and apologizing to Saki while also admitting that he was lying and Saki returning the heels he threw out to him.

What to expect from Senpai Is an Otokonoko episode 4? (Speculative)

Senpai Is an Otokonoko episode 4 will be titled I Realized and will continue from where it left off in the previous episode after Saki made Makoto realize how he should stick with his true self. As indicated by the preview synopsis, the next episode will see Saki and Makoto grow closer to each other which will give Ryuji a bad feeling because he also likes Makoto.

As seen in the preview trailer, these three will visit the aquarium for a change of pace after the events of Makoto's rebellion, and due to Saki's cleverness, the trip will go smoothly.
