Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10, released on December 8, 2024, shows Sunraku defeating the Overdress Golem and reaching Elevantar, where he meets up with Psyger-0. This established a very comedic episode where Psyger-0, who has a crush on the protagonist, tries to build a stronger connection with him.

In Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10, Animalia and her SF-Zoo clan also returned. While she was initially introduced in this episode as having a rather ominous reunion with Arthur Pencilgon, her intentions were made quite clear when she met Psyger-0 and Sunraku, with the episode ending with a notorious cliffhanger, which was the return of one of the Seven Colossi, Lycaon.

Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10: Sunraku reaches Elevantar and meets Psyger-0

Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10 starts with the character of Animalia reuniting with Arthur Pencilgon in a rather mysterious manner. Then, the series switches to the protagonist as he is fighting the Overdress Golem with his new weapons, Gilta Brille. This highlights how these weapons need to use certain tools that raise his stats but ultimately get the win by destroying the Golem's engine.

In Elevantar, Sunraku gets new gear to use in one of the stores and hears from other players that Psyger-0 has been waiting for him for over an hour. This leads to a funny scene where both characters misunderstand the other's feelings, with Sunraku thinking that she wants to kill and the latter crushing over the protagonist.

Be that as it may, Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10 showcases Psyger-0 and Sunraku traveling to reach the town of Fifthticia, allowing both characters to get to know each other better. In this journey, the young girl asks him to call her by her real name, Rei Saiga, which is a big step for her character.

Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10: Sunraku gets along with Psyger-0, and surprises arise

The episode then has Sunraku and Psyger-0 taking care of several opponents with a lot of ease, while the latter tries to impress the protagonist by giving him a shortcut to the boss of the area. However, her memory fails her, and they end up getting lost, although things change dramatically soon after.

The last part of Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10 has Animalia and her clan, SF-Zoo, stepping up and telling the duo to leave. This is when Animalia reveals that Arthur Pencilgon gave her information to reach Rabituza, but Sunraku tells himself that her partner lied to them. However, when there seems to be a clash, Lycaon makes his grand entrance, and the episode ends.

Final thoughts

Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 10 gave fans something they have been waiting for for some time: longer interactions between Psyger-0 and Sunraku. This episode has also set the stage for another one of the most pivotal battles in the series since the protagonist could potentially have a rematch with Lycaon, but now surrounded with possible allies.
