Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 6 was released on November 17, and its main focus was on how Sunraku reached a dead end with the quest of Inventoria since he cannot use the weapons and armors at Inventoria. Despite the fact that Bilac managed to become a superior blacksmith, the protagonist still can't wear the armor and wield the weapons because he has Lycaon's curse.
It is also worth pointing out that Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 6 sees the character moving away from the main game of the series for the first time, out of frustration. This, in return, presents a new game, Nephilim Hollow, and introduces a new character by the tail end of the episode, Rust, who is bound to have a somewhat major role to play.

Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 6: Sunraku reached a dead end with the Inventoria armors
Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 6 starts where the previous one left off as Sunraku goes back to a city after defeating the Golden Crystal Scorpion. This is when he meets Emul and chooses to go back to Rabituza to see if Bilac has managed to progress as a blacksmith.
The next scene is very comedy-focused as Bilac has a breakdown because Sunraku provided her with pieces of the Golden Crystal Scorpion, which she highlights are very rare. Bilac also built the reactor Sunraku needed to use the tools at Inventoria, the place they can access after defeating Wezaemon. But it is revealed that he can't equip the weapons and armors because of Lycaon's curse.
Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 6 then moves to real life where Rei Saiga, known as Psyger-0 in the game, finds Sunraku's house by accident but chooses to walk away out of embarrassment. Meanwhile, Sunraku is talking with his sister about his frustration with the game and chooses to play another one to relax.

Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 6: Sunraku logs into Nephilim Hollow and Rust is introduced
Realizing that he still has to deal with the threat of Lycaon's curse, Sunraku decides to play another game, which focuses on mecha suits, named Nephilim Hollow. As he logs in and realizes that he hasn't played the game in months, he is attacked by a player whose name is Ballman. Sunraku decides to accept the challenge, using his own mecha, named King Fisher.
Despite this being one of those games where he doesn't have the help of the Wolfgang clan, Sunraku's strategies and abilities shone throughout this battle. It was quite telling when he was getting outmatched by Ballman during the early stages of the conflict because he was rusty due to not having played the game, for a long time.
However, during the last portion of the battle he managed to distract the enemy and came out with a special attack that gave him the victory. As they were talking after the fight, the number one player in the game's rankings, Rust, shows up, ending the episode with that massive cliffhanger.
Final thoughts
Shangri-La Frontier season 2 episode 6 could be considered a transition of sorts since it didn't move the plot forward in a meaningful way. Sunraku now has to deal with Lycaon's curse if he wants to use the Inventoria tools and the next episode is very likely to focus on him fighting Rust.
