One Piece chapter 1135 is set to be released on January 6, 2025, but the spoilers for the chapter have already been revealed. The spoilers continued the frenzy on Elbaph Island as the presumed 'Holy Knights' continued their march towards their targets. Although the chapter only saw one of these two in action, the 'Shanks' lookalike showcased some properties that might reveal details about the Emperor.
As stated in One Piece chapter 1135 spoilers, the lookalike had a sword similar to the sword of Shanks and Garling. This makes another point that might prove that the Emperor might be a Garling like his lookalike. This might be valid due to the series' penchant where characters from the same clans/ranks have similar appearances and weapons.

One Piece chapter 1135: Exploring Shanks as a part of the Figarland Clan
One Piece chapter 1135 full spoilers commenced with a focus on the Owl Library. After showcasing the current condition of the Straw Hat Pirates, the spoilers turned towards the Heaven Realm of Elbaph Island where the two mysterious characters, who had just appeared through a magic circle, were looking for someone.
Eventually, these two encountered the giant guardians who were confused about how these two were summoned to the top of Elbaph Island. The mysterious character who had his face covered asked the guard about Loki's location. As expected, the giant didn't answer the question. After asking for a second time, the mysterious character did something that sent the giant into agony.
While this frenzy was continuing, One Piece chapter 1135 focused on the other mysterious character (Shanks' lookalike) and he had a similar sword to Gryphon and Garling's sword. Gryphon, as some fans already know, is the sword of the Emperor and captain of the Red-Hair Pirates, Shanks.
This might tie the Emperor to his lookalike and ultimately prove the fan theory that Shanks might be a Figarland. The young persona of Garling Figarland, who was recently promoted to a Gorosei, resembled the Emperor, hinting that these two might be related. Moreover, the recent connection through a similar sword with his lookalike (presumably Garling's son), Shanks might be a Figarland.
Eiichiro Oda's Penchant for relating characters
In the past, Eiichiro Oda has related characters by giving them similar physical appearances. The prime example of this is the relationship between the members of the D clan members (as all of them die with a smile on their faces).
Similarly, the appearances of Nico Robin and Nico Olvia were similar (relating them as mother and daughter). This might be what would relate Shanks to the Figarland clan given his similar appearance to Garling and his son.
Final thoughts
Shanks is all but confirmed a member of the Figarland clan given how he was found on the God Valley (where Garling arrived to take part in the Native Hunting Competition). This theory might be one of those that fans just have to wait to become true as it has enough lore backing it.
