Studio Lapin Track's Shoshimin episode 3 will be available on the mega anime-streaming platform Crunchyroll. In Japan, the episode will air on the NUMAnimation slot on 24 TV Asahi affiliates, BS Asahi, and others. Terrestrial TV will broadcast it simultaneously and exclusively in advance thanks to ABEMA.

Shoshimin episode 2 recap
Titled How to Make Delicious Hot Cocoa, the episode begins with Jogoru walking through a market, where he spots Yuki. Upon approaching, he guesses that she was distressed about her stolen bicycle and strawberry tarts. But she revealed something more that had happened.
Apparently, she got called into the school counselor's office after her bike was spotted at the site of a break-in. She was scolded for allowing her bike to get stolen, which ruined her mood. As such, Jogoru decided to treat her to sweets at a nearby shop before, once again, Kengo called.
Thus, the pair headed over to Kengo's place. All settled in, they began eating cake bought by Yuki as Kengo went on to explain to Jogoro the trick to making delicious hot cocoa. Sensing a little tension in the air, Yuki excused herself to use the restroom, leaving the two boys alone, which is when Kengo speaks up.
He wanted to know the reason for the change in Jogoro's attitude - from snarky and annoyingly erudite to bratty and nasty with a smiling facade. Jogoro, in turn, tried to push his case of "being ordinary" and changing with time, but Kengo wasn't buying it. He didn't believe that the former was one who readily agreed to things.
At this point, we are also introduced to Chisato, Kengo's sister. She was vexed that Kengo had made cocoa by dirtying just a spoon. Thus, Chisato, Yuki, and Jogoro decided to retrace Kengo's cocoa-making steps. Each came up with their own methods with minimal use of dishes, dirtying only one spoon.
The trio ended up racking their heads over Kengo's efficiency. In the end, Jogoro arrived at the answer - Kengo had heated up the entire milk carton before pouring the heated contents into cups already containing cocoa powder.
What to expect from Shoshimin episode 3
Shoshimin episode 3 will be titled Humpty Dumpty. As indicated by the preview synopsis of the episode, Kobato and Osanai will be taking their midterm exams in the next episode. During the exam, a vase breaks out of nowhere which makes Osanai lose her focus and forget what she was about to write in her paper.
After the exam, she tells Kobato about her situation. This piques Kobato's interest and as a way to solve this mystery, he returns to call. After solving the first mystery, Kobato and Osanai visit a pastry shop that is offering a cake buffet. Kobato's interest could get piqued as to how the shop is making profit by offering a buffet.
