As mentioned earlier, Solo Camping for Two anime is slated to release sometime in July this year. The trailer gave the viewers a peek into the series’ premise and setting. The story revolves around Gen, an avid camper who loves to take a break from the busy city life. He is in tune with nature and values the freedom it offers. This is one of the reasons why he loves solo camping. However, one day, he encounters a young woman named Shizuku Kusano during his camping trip.

She is quite inexperienced and wishes to experience camping. Gen begrudgingly allows her to join his camping trip. He wanted to enjoy camping alone. However, it seemed like the plan was set in motion. Following that, she responds to his statement by calling it “solo camping for two.” Each episode will feature different aspects of camping and how the two companions will navigate their way through camping trips. The manga author also released an illustration to commemorate the upcoming anime adaptation.

Daiki Hachimaki is the sound director while Shota Kowashi will compose the music for Solo Camping for Two. Solo Camping for Two other adaptations

The story revolves around Gen Kinokura, a middle-aged man with a great love for solo camping, and Shizuku Kusano, a young girl passionate about camping but a total amateur in it. Gen likes spending his time in solitude and peace appreciating nature. A bit old-fashioned in his taste, he stumbles across Shizuku on one of his camping trips. She is loud and headstrong, just the type Gen doesn't like to encounter while camping.
