Meanwhile, the Apostle Tielle sets his plan in motion to convert the Hunters from the Hunter Association in their party. However, in a surprising twist, Tielle starts with Minsung, targeting him first to begin his scheme.

Solo Leveling Ragnarok chapter 36 sees the showdown between Suho and the Demon

The narrative in Solo Leveling Ragnarok chapter 36 is packed with intense action and intriguing developments. It opens with a conversation between two excavation recruits, who express skepticism about the amount of unexcavated mana crystals remaining in the dungeon. They also discuss Suho, an E-Rank hunter participating in this B-Rank gate raid, and plan to assist him once their work is complete.

The scene shifts to Suho confronting the demon leader overseeing the Paju dungeon's stardust factory. The demon, now in his original form, is intent on defeating Suho and presenting him as a gift to the Apostle. Suho and Buru assess that the demon is comparable in strength to an A-Rank Hunter, such as Randolph from the Pyramid Field.

Suho contemplates why the Hunter Association prioritized clearing the Paju dungeon, suspecting they might have discovered something about the stardust. This realization prompts him to consider how it might complicate his efforts to extract information about the Apostle from Minsung.

During the confrontation, Suho interrogates the demon about the Apostle's whereabouts. The demon realizes that, much like the Apostle's interest in "the guy in the black mask," Suho is also after the Apostle. He declares his intention to offer Suho's crushed body to the Apostle and ensnares him with his tentacles.

In Solo Leveling Ragnarok chapter 36, the narrative shifts to a flashback, revealing Suho's training under Ammut, which he completed in just five days.

During this time, Suho gained immense strength and a unique skill to increase his strength stat. Ammut remarks that Suho may now be the strongest human alive.

Back in the present, Suho activates his new skill, with his strength level reaching 120. He effortlessly tears apart the demon's tentacles. However, the demon refuses to reveal the Apostle's location, and thus Suho annihilates them all in the blink of an eye.

Beru eats the demon's corpse to peek into its memories and learn information regarding the Apostle. However, he discovers nothing useful, as the demon only perceives the Apostle as a mere shining light.

With that, Suho wonders if he has no other choice than to extract information from Minsung. Meanwhile, with the demon slain, Esil appears to recover some of her original strength.

However, Tielle appears to have different intentions. Miho decides to focus on defeating the boss monster first and then search the area thoroughly. She suggests that they enter the boss' room. However, Minsung is stunned when he discovers Tielle inserting a golden fragment inside his body.

Tielle confesses that his ultimate goal has always been to convert every hunter in the party into believers, including Minsung, with plans to use him to get to Lim Taegyu, the S-Rank Hunter.

Furious, Minsung refuses to be brainwashed, but Itarim's golden light envelops him, overpowering his will and successfully turning him into a believer.

The chapter ends on a tense note as Minsung becomes a mindless servant, and Tielle sets his sights on converting the next Hunter, targeting Miho.
