With the release of Solo Leveling season 2 episode 1, the anime finally started adapting the Red Gate Arc. While A-1 Pictures adapted manhwa chapters 46 to 51, the anime featured several changes. Some manhwa scenes were omitted while others were altered for better continuity between scenes.
The anime episode saw Sung Jinwoo don a new look to meet Jinah's teacher. During this, the teacher requested Jinwoo to convince Han Song-Yi to resume going to school. This development saw Jinwoo take Song-Yi inside a "White Tiger Guild" Gate to help her understand how powerless she was. Unfortunately, the C-Rank Gate turned into a Red Gate, endangering everyone within.

Solo Leveling season 2 episode 1: Every change made by A-1 Pictures for the anime
Sung Jinwoo's bank scene from Manhwa was omitted in Solo Leveling season 2 episode 1
In the anime, Sung Jinwoo was shown to don a new look right after he received Sung Jinah's call for the parent-teacher meeting, but this isn't what happened in the manhwa. In the source material, Jinwoo was shown to panic after realizing that he had forgotten about the parent-teacher meeting.
Despite the short three-hour deadline, he decided to get new clothes for the meeting. Hence, he was shown visiting the bank to make a debit card and update his account. Upon examining his account, the bank employee was shocked and asked Jinwoo to make some investments, but the protagonist politely rejected the idea.
Jong-In Choi and Gun-Hee Go scene was added in Solo Leveling season 2 episode 1
As Solo Leveling fans might remember, the anime's previous season ended with Jong-In Choi and the Hunters Guild going to Jeju Island to investigate the infamous location. Solo Leveling season 2 episode 1 continued that event with an original scene that saw Jong-in Choi meet up with Gun-Hee Go in his office.
After investigating Jeju Island, Jong-in Choi informed Gun-Hee Go about the beasts who were now capable of flying. While they were only able to levitate for a small distance, there remained a possibility that the beasts could further evolve and learn to fly further.
Hwang Dongsoo and Jin-Chul Woo's car scene omitted
As fans must have observed, the anime saw Hwang Dongsoo and Jin-Chul Woo directly reaching the Red Gate after their meet-up at the airport. This must have left several fans confused over how the S-Rank Hunter located the protagonist.
In reality, the scene explaining the same was omitted by A-1 Pictures. The manhwa showed Hwang Dongsoo asking Jin-Chul Woo to take him to one of the gates. Sung Jinwoo and Yoo Jinho were Hunters. Hence, Dongsoo expected them to be inside a dungeon. Right after, the S-Rank Hunter looked online to find out that Jinwoo had entered a White Tiger Guild Gate.
Additional changes made by A-1 Pictures
A-1 Pictures changed the number of Hunters that entered the White Tiger Guild Gate. The manhwa saw 12 Hunters enter the Gate, but, in the anime, the number of Hunters was reduced to eight. Subsequently, the number of B-Rank and C-Rank Hunters was reduced by two each.
The anime also made some changes to the Baek Yoonho and Hwang Dongsoo scenes. While Yoonho was surprised by Dongsoo's sudden appearance in the anime, he didn't seem furious. In the manhwa, he had activated his powers immediately, causing his hair to turn white.
Lastly, A-1 Pictures removed Jinwoo's workout scene in the anime. While the anime saw Han Song-Yi mention it, the same wasn't animated. This omission effectively also removed an interaction between Jinwoo and Song-Yi during which they discussed Jinah's life away from school.
