The official website of the Solo Leveling anime unveiled the preview for Solo Leveling season 2 episode 2 on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. The anime episode, titled I Suppose You Aren't Aware, will be released on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 12 am JST. The anime will be available to watch on Crunchyroll.

The previous episode saw Sung Jinwoo meet up with Han Song-Yi to help her understand how difficult life as an E-Rank Hunter could get. However, this plan takes an unfortunate turn after the C-Rank Dungeon Gate they entered turned into a Red Gate. Meanwhile, Hwang Dongsoo reached Korea to take down Jinwwo and Jinho.

Barca will attack Sung Jinwoo's attack squad in Solo Leveling season 2 episode 2

As seen at the end of the previous episode, A-Rank Hunter Kim Chul's attack squad was wiped out by the Ice Elves. Soon after, the anime showed fans a glimpse of their leader Barca. With that, it was suggested that Barca would follow Kim Chul to locate Sung Jinwoo and his attack squad.

As hinted by the preview synopsis, Barca is the dungeon boss and is set to appear before Sung Jinwoo's attack squad, hoping to wipe them out. However, for some reason, Jinwoo happens to understand the language spoken by the ice elves. Upon realizing this, Barca is set to suggest a proposal. He wanted Jinwoo to give him the members of his attack squad in exchange for his safety.

Solo Leveling season 2 episode 2 will see Sung Jinwoo fight Barca

Considering how outrageous Barca's proposal to Sung Jinwoo is going to be, the protagonist is bound to fight Barca. In fact, given how Barca is the dungeon boss, defeating him or waiting for a dungeon break are the only two ways Jinwoo and his attack squad can exit the Red Gate.

Additionally, the anime's previously released promotional videos had also given fans glimpses of a fight between Sung Jinwoo and Barca. Thus, fans can expect to witness the anime's protagonist fight a dungeon boss in the series' second episode itself.

Baek Yoonho might face off against Hwang Dongsoo in Solo Leveling season 2 episode 2

As seen in the anime's previous episode, Baek Yoonho was very concerned about the Hunters that had entered the Red Gate. Thus, he stood outside the gate for hours, hoping to see something change. That's when Hwang Dongsoo made his sudden appearance. The S-Rank Hunter was after Jinwoo and also started waiting outside the Red Gate.

While Baek Yoonho was surprised by Hwang Dongsoo's sudden appearance, he did not act hostile. Nevertheless, as per the preview for the next episode, the White Tiger Guild Master is set to activate his powers, possibly for a face-off against Hwang Dongsoo.
