Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 was released on June 20, 2024, and there were mixed reviews about the contents explored in the series. The latest chapter wasn’t particularly exciting on many fronts. However, there were certain elements in the chapter that were thoroughly enjoyable.

One thing that really stood out was the interaction that took place between Himawari and Jura. Himawari managed to close Inojin’s wounds and decided to take on Jura in order to save her friends. She also decided to take on Jura all by herself because she now had access to Kurama’s chakra and received a massive power-up.

However, the biggest highlight in the series was a dialogue that Himawari delivered in the manga which could be looked at as a reference to the Spiderman series.

A subtle Spiderman reference involving Himawari in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11

As stated earlier, there was one particular dialogue that Himawari delivered in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 when speaking to Cho-Cho and Shikadai. The two rushed to Inojin and they were instructed to take him away from the battlefield. Inojin needed immediate treatment and Himawari decided to take on Jura all by herself. She said,

“If I have this power, I wanna carry out the responsibility that comes with it… what dad and big bro would do too.”

This can be looked at as a reference to the Spiderman series, as it draws a parallel to a conversation that took place between Peter Parker and his close relative Uncle Ben.

The latter always reinforced an important lesson and his often-quoted dialogue was, “With great power comes great responsibility.” Seeing Himawari have such strong ideals with an extreme sense of morality and justice certainly warmed the hearts of the readers.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 gave fans an indication of just how far Himawari has come in the series. She has shown incredible maturity and it’s quite clear that the writers’ focus is completely on her at the moment. Another reason why fans are excited is due to the fact that she’s not only strong mentally but also incredibly strong physically.

In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11, we could see Himawri perform the Tailed Beast Bomb against Jura. The latter was forced to retreat mid-attack, and he nearly paid the price for his hesitation.

It also appeared like she added her own twist to the technique by imitating the rotational element from the Rasengan. Himawari has grown up to become an exceptionally talented shinobi who is putting her life on the line in the hopes of saving her comrades.

In the manga, it was also stated that she was the best Jinchuriki owing to her compatibility with Kurama. With this information out in the open, Himawari Uzumaki is destined to become stronger than her father, should the story provide her with the necessary conditions to do so.
