My Hero Academia chapter 427 was released on July 8, 2024. The chapter saw the continuation of the epilogue and put light on Spinner. The villain made some claims that proved Shigaraki didn't die without fulfilling his dreams.

The main focus of the chapter was on the broadcast program where the local civilians were asked about their opinion on Tomura Shigaraki. While most people didn't consider him a good person, some were willing to know about his origins without feeling sympathy for him.

On the other hand, Deku had entered Spinner's room where they had a heated conversation regarding the passing of Shigaraki. Spinner boldly claimed that Shigraraki was his hero and taunted Deku for killing him. Shigaraki had always planned to be a hero since he was a child, so he was at least able to become someone's hero before he died.

My Hero Academia chapter 427 commenced with the broadcast program titled "Who was Tomura Shigaraki?" The program saw the people of the city share their opinions about Tomura Shigaraki. The majority of the people didn't like the villain and some people even questioned why he didn't convert into a good person.

On the other hand, some people showed interest in learning about the origins of Shigaraki but still weren't ready to pity him. They considered pitying him the same as giving birth to a new inheritor of All for One.

On the other hand, in the hospital, Spinner was visited by Deku, who wanted to deliver Shigaraki's last words. Spinner couldn't comprehend what these words meant, but he went berserk after Izuku's message ended. He vociferously announced what Shigaraki meant to him. He was the light of his life and the hero he looked up to.

Soon after this, Spinner's quirk started going into overdrive and the doctors wanted to interrupt the meeting, but Izuku stopped them. Spinner then calmed down and stated that he would write a book about Shigaraki so people wouldn't forget about him. Deku left the room by stating that he would never forget about Spinner's hero.

Since he was a little boy, Tenko Shimura always wanted to be a hero. He wanted to be that light of hope in everyone's life, but his dreams were crushed after his quirk awakening. He killed his own family and became the Symbol of Fear in the eyes of society, all according to All for One's plans.

In chapter 418, after Deku entered Tomura Shigaraki's origins, the villain got back to his senses for a moment and realized that he indeed needed to become a hero but for the villains. That was because they were his friends, the people who gave Tomura a place in their hearts, something others couldn't do.

Deku proved that Tomura loved the League of Villains because he saw them deep in his heart when he visited Tomura's origins. So, Tomura died after accomplishing his dreams of becoming a hero for Spinner, someone who admired Tomura for who he was.
