Spirit Chronicles season 2 episode 1 was titled When I Met You In This World You Were. The episode commenced with a brief flashback of Rio's previous life. The episode also revealed Mahiru who was meeting with Masato, Aki, Takahisa, and Satsuki. However, all of them were isekai-ed to the same fantasy world as Rio.
When they arrived, they were kidnapped by bandits who were thinking of selling them. However, upon Aisha's saying, Rio ventured to look for some people who were transported to his world. Upon searching, he crossed paths with the same bandits who had kidnapped Mahiru and her friends. Upon asking, the bandits didn't reveal anything but one of Mahiru's friends shouted.
Rio knew immediately that these people had the people he was looking for and he took a battle stance. However, the bandits weren't going to let him take their merchandise that easily so they tried fighting. However, Rio took care of one of them easily, forcing them to release Mahiru's friends. After they were released, Rio was informed that Mahiru was being kept in another cage.
After he released Mahiru, his memories reminded him that Mahiru was his first love in the previous world. He then accompanied them to his house where they met Celia and Aisha and the latter acted as a medium for them to communicate, as Mahiru and his friends couldn't speak the other-worldly language. They then had dinner and went to tell Rio what happened to them.

Spirit Chronicles season 2 episode 2 is titled Shopping in Another World. As indicated in the previous episode, the next episode will see Mahiru and his friends go shopping to buy clothes that suit the other-worldly culture.
