The episode showcased Rio, Miharu, Celia, and Aishia, exploring the Town of Amande, where they purchased the necessary clothing and other items.
Besides that, Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 saw Princess Flora and the Duke welcome a Hero to the Beltrum Kingdom. Meanwhile, Rio speculated that Takahisa and Satsuki had perhaps been summoned as heroes to the world. The episode nicely showed the light-hearted events and set up the narrative.

Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 begins with Rio explaining to Miharu and others how he serves as the source of Aishia's magical energy. She receives her magical energy through the covenant and telepathic connection with Rio. Celia feels it's fine, but that doesn't necessarily mean Rio has to stay with Aishia all the time.
Suddenly, Aishia shifts toward Miharu, who she feels has a lot of magical energy like Rio. Meanwhile, Rio discusses the rooms Miharu and others should take. Masato and Aki share a room, while Miharu, Rio, and Celia spend the night in separate rooms.
The next day, Rio reveals the truth about his origin to Celia. He confesses how he has Haruto's memories, who died in an accident in another world. Celia finally understands why Rio can understand Miharu and others, being from the same world. That said, Rio assures his teacher that he's still "Rio," not "Haruto."
Elsewhere in Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2, Reiss sympathizes with Charles for the unforeseen events. He feels it's unfortunate that Celia, Charles's fiance, was abducted in broad daylight. However, Charles tells Reiss that there's no need to worry because he has already received reports that the brigand has been dealt with.
Yet, he has no information on Celia's whereabouts. Reiss, who knows about Rio's involvement in the matter, feels the boy has done well to keep his and the Spirit's identity and location concealed from everyone. In addition to Celia's abduction case, Charles feels it's too worrisome for the written prophecy concerning the heroes' arrival to come true.

The narrative then switches to the Beltrum Kingdom's Rodan Territory Capital, Rodania, where Princess Flora and Duke Huguenot prepare a grand feast for the Hero, Sakata Hiroaki.
The Hero acts arrogantly with Flora and others, being aware of his position. Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 reveals Sakata Hiroaki was summoned to the Beltrum Kingdom while he was lying on his bed on Earth. As an Otaku, Sakata knew exactly how to act as a hero.
Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2: Rio takes Celia, Miharu, and Aishia for shopping
The narrative for Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 switches to Rio, who prepares to take Miharu and Celia to the town for shopping. Masato and Aki decide to stay back and guard the stone house. Rio assures them that he will bring nice clothing for them.
Rio and Aishia then use their magic to fly and take Miharu and Celia with them. During their flight, Celia asks Aishia how much he knows about Rio. The Spirit says she knows nearly everything since Haruto's memories flow directly to her through their covenant.
Celia is surprised to learn how Aishia shares memories with Rio. It's almost as if their consciousness is bound together. Celia becomes slightly jealous because Aishia may know a side of Rio that she doesn't. During their conversation, Aishia reveals that Haruto in his past life used to be different.
The Spirit feels Rio/Haruto has changed thanks to Celia. When nobody showed him love, Celia reached out to him with kindness. That's why, Rio/Haruto could learn to trust others. Aishia hopes she will continue to interact with the boy as she has done throughout her life.
Shortly after that, Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 shows Rio and Aishia landing on the ground. The boy informs everyone that they will be Celia Cecila in the town since they can't afford to reveal her actual identity. Moreover, he also advises everyone to change their hair colors because black hair is slightly conspicuous.
Rio and the party's visit to the Trade Town of Amande in the Galarc Kingdom becomes memorable, as they try different dishes and buy lots of items. Miharu picks a striking ensemble for Rio, which he likes. The party thoroughly enjoys their time at Amande, buying plenty of necessary items.
Meanwhile, at the Beltrum Kingdom, Aria tells Liselotte Cretia that it will take some time for the Kingdom's borders to reopen. Liselotte feels Beltrum wants to control the information on that matter. Aria advises the girl to take the opportunity to forget about her workload and enjoy some leisure time. They also discuss the arrival of the heroes.
Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2: Rio returns home and discusses the whereabouts of Satsuki and Takahisa
Following that, Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 switches to Rio's stone house, where he brings the necessary clothing for Masato and Aki. Later, during their gathering, Rio reveals that he couldn't find information on Takahisa and Satsuki. However, he feels they may have been summoned to the world as Heroes.
Masato and Aki want to find them as soon as possible, but Rio advises them to learn about the world's customs and language first. Miharu feels it's only fair. Meanwhile, Rio wants to talk to some trustworthy people and gather as much information as possible.
Soon after the meeting, Rio and Miharu are seen preparing dinner. Aki feels Miharu, who isn't usually comfortable around people in general, is fine with Haruto. On the other hand, Celia becomes slightly jealous and wants to learn to cook as well. Rio almost reads Celia's mind and invites him to try and cook. Conclusion
Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 offered a light-hearted experience to the audience, with Rio and his party enjoying their time at Amande. The episode has also set up the narrative, introducing one of the Heroes, who has been summoned to the Beltrum Kingdom.
From the production perspective, TMS Entertainment has done a fine job, of portraying the events from the light nobel. Although the staff has deviated slightly from the original light novel, the characters and their intentions have remained true to the source material. Some scenes could have been better animation-wise, but the overall production was decent for the episode.
