The previous chapter saw the Forger Family go to a festival organized by the Lady Patriots, a group of women headed by Melinda Desmond. This is due to the manga's release schedule, which sees its chapters released biweekly. On top of that, the manga has gone on a break, pushing the next chapter's release to about a month away.

That said, the manga chapter will not be released on the same day worldwide. This is due to the varying time zones worldwide, which will see the manga be released on Sunday, November 24, 2024, in the western regions.

Spy X Family chapter 107 saw the Forger family go to a carnival organized by the Lady Patriots. Hence, Loid expected to come across Melinda Desmond and proceed further with his Plan C. Instead, the Forger family happened to meet all of Anya's friends from school and their guardians. During this, Loid learned about the number of connections Anya had made during her time in school.

The manga later saw the children partaking in a contest, the loser of which was supposed to leave the carnival. However, after Anya lost the contest, Damian chose to ignore the stipulation. Soon after, Anya, Yor, Becky, and Martha went to visit some fortune-telling booths. There, Anya and Yor happened to confront Melinda Desmond.

Spy X Family chapter 108 will most likely reveal why Melinda Desmond was seated at the fortune-telling booth. Such an exchange should help forge a stronger bond between Yor and Melinda, making further progress into Loid's Plan C.

Furthermore, Anya's esper ability could come in handy during this exchange as she should be able to deduce Melinda's relationship with Damian further. While she seemingly loved her son, Anya noted Melinda holding some unusual emotions toward him previously.
