Melinda was suffering from headaches, insomnia, and diminished appetite. Thus, she hoped that her talk with Loid could help her take a step in the right direction.

Just as the therapy session began, Melinda asked Loid about his belief in UFOs. Loid believed a positive response could help Melinda become more open to him. Hence, he entertained her question. With that, the manga saw Melinda reveal that her husband Donovan Desmond was an alien.
