With the release of Suicide Squad Isekai episode 10, the anime saw the Squad finally defeat the Skeleton Queen. However, just as it seemed like the story had reached its conclusion, the anime hinted at future developments as the Joker is revealed as the Emperor.

The anime's previous episode saw the Skeleton Queen finally reveal herself, forcing Fione to take charge of the Kingdom. Moments later, Harley and others arrived to help Fione. While Harley defeated Enchantress, Katana led Clay Face and Rick Flag to Enchantress's body.

Suicide Squad Isekai episode 10 opened with Rick Flag and Clay Face retrieving Enchantress's real body. This incident saw Enchantress feel the pain that Clay Face and Rick Flag were mistakenly putting her real body through. Thus, even though Harley agreed to get her body back to her, Enchantress was enraged and attacked Harley.

In the meantime, Peacemaker helped King Shark in his fight manipulating Leviathan through his gills. This was followed by Leviathan crushing Killer Croc.

Elsewhere, around the same time, after Cecil was injured, he handed over the Hero's armor to Deadshot, asking him to protect Fione and save the Kingdom. While Deadshot wasn't keen on it at first, after discovering its powers, he stripped Cecil of the entire armor.

Moments later, Enchantress was reunited with her real body, leaving her no reason to follow Skeleton Queen's commands. Hence, she effectively joined forces with the squad and started fighting the zombies.

Right after, Deadshot arrived with the armor and had the squad wear parts of it. Equipping parts of armor saw the squad get different outfits and some upgraded powers.

The squad started fighting the zombies, however, due to the undead's nature, they kept spawning at them. Hence, Enchantress took over to make things even, allowing the squad to fight Skeleton Queen.

During this, Harley learned about Fione possessing magic. With that in mind, she switched places with the princess, leaving Skeleton Queen off-guard. Thus, when the undead mistakenly caught hold off Fione, the princess used her magic to summon the hero's sword from King Shark's belly and beheaded the Skeleton Queen.

After the fight, it was revealed that Harley and Fione had gotten closer as Harley gave the princess a new nickname "Fio."

As for Rick Flag, he reported the events to Amanda Waller. It was then revealed that Katana had never left the Earth to go to isekai. The Katana that was represting the Empire was none other than The Joker, who was the real Emperor. With that, the anime hinted at a sequel series.
