International audiences can stream the episode on various streaming platforms, with Crunchyroll notably not being one of them. In the United States, fans can find the series on Max and Hulu. In Korea, it can be found on ANIPLUS and LAFTEL, while ADN hosts the series in France. Finally, HBO GO will stream the anime in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Suicide Squad Isekai episodes 1-3 began with introducing Harley Quinn and Amanda Waller. While Harley was captured by Katana after a heist with the Joker gone wrong, Amanda successfully opened a portal to another world. Half a year later, their paths crossed when Amanda sent Harley on a mission into the other world with Clayface, Peacemaker, King Shark, and Deadshot as her allies on the mission.

However, things immediately went wrong with their handler's death, leading the five of them to be imprisoned. In prison, they met Rick Flag, who was the handler of the squad sent before them just a short time after the portal was opened. With Rick, they staged a breakout and takeover of the prison. As this happened, Cecil, the knight who imprisoned them, was approached by Fione, the land’s princess, about enlisting Harley and co for help in their fight against the Empire.

Cecil then went to the prison to negotiate with them, eventually granting them an audience with the Queen. This also led to the revelation that Harley and co were the second suicide squad sent, with the first having defected to the Empire after breaking free from Rick Flag. Harley and co then fought the Empire for the first time, almost defeating Ratcatcher. However, Katana appeared at the last second, infuriating Harley as the third episode ended.

With the stage seemingly set for the series’ storyline, Suicide Squad Isekai episode 4 will likely focus primarily on explaining who the Empire is and what their goals are. Fans and Harley’s group will likely learn of some meaningful connection to their world, in turn explaining Amanda Waller’s own goals in sending two different suicide squads there.

Episode 4 should also expand on the Queen and her own goals, as well as why she’s fighting the Empire in the first place. While it’s clear she has some reason for fighting what appears to be a losing war, it’s unclear as of this article’s writing what that motivation could be.
