Suicide Squad Isekai episode 4 recap
Suicide Squad Isekai episode 4 began with a flashback to Joker and Harley Quinn having a conversation in Gotham about the best way to deal with “rats.” This was revealed to be a dream Harley was having as she awoke in a cell with the others. Princess Fione then approached them followed by Cecil shortly thereafter. This led to a flashback revealing Fione’s childhood, and how some of her friends suffered greatly from the war her mother was and still is waging.
Focus then shifted to the War Council, where Harley and co complained about not receiving their freedom. Rick Flag pleaded with the Queen while also beseeching her for information on the war, which led to the reveal that many of her own forces like the Beastmen and Elves betrayed her and joined the Empire. Harley eventually said she had a plan to defeat Ratcatcher and his forces marching to reclaim the fort they just got back, which everyone agreed to.
Focus then shifted to the battlefield, where Rick Flag, Cecil, and Harley led the various troops present in the operation. Deadshot was notably absent practicing his sniping from the fort’s roofs, as Ratcatcher and his army marched on the fort later that night. They goaded Ratcatcher into revealing himself, leading Deadshot to break the staff he was using on the Beastmen. The episode ended with the Beastmen attacking him as Harley and co left for the crashed helicopter.
What to expect from Suicide Squad Isekai episode 5 (speculative)
With Harley and co about to get a reset on their bomb timers, fans can expect Suicide Squad Isekai episode 5 to first see them take a brief rest and figure out their next moves. From here, fans can expect to see them choose to either continue siding with the Queen, or side with the Empire to further their own goals.
Episode 5 should also see Fione begin coming into the larger role she’s seemingly been built up for over the last few episodes. This should also lead to the reveal of the Queen’s true intentions, with episode 4’s final scenes showing her seemingly upset at the victory over Ratcatcher and the Empire.
