With the release of Suicide Squad Isekai episode 8, the anime saw the squad get invited to meet with Queen Aldora. While the squad believed that they were up for a feast, the Queen had something else in store. The anime later saw Amanda Waller try to kill the squad when Rick Flag saved them.

The previous episode saw Harley Quinn and company go after Thinker. While Harley succeeded in defeating the villain, she was soon interrupted by Katana. Just as it seemed like Harley had the upper hand, Katana ran away. As for Queen Aldora, she asked her soldiers to capture Harley and others.

Suicide Squad Isekai episode 8: Rick Flag saves the squad

Suicide Squad Isekai episode 8 opened with a discussion between Queen Aldora's subjects as the queen asked Theodore to do something for her. Moments later, the squad arrived at the palace. Following their victory, they were hopeful of a winning feast but were instead blamed by Theodore for everything that had gone in the Empire's way.

Just as Harley Quinn retaliated to these accusations, Theodore slapped him. This enraged the squad as King Shark ate Theodore, following which a small fight broke out. After the fight, Queen Aldora gave the squad a death sentence. But upon Cecil's request, she decided to exile all of them, except for King Shark, who received the death penalty.

Fione later apologized to them for what had happened but Harley was fed up with her attitude and ranted at her. The squad could later be seen at a pub as they tried to wash down their failure with drinks. However, the peace was broken when a song about the squad triggered a fight between the squad members.

The next day, Rick Flag woke up each of the squad members as they needed to reset their bomb timers, following which they were to rescue Nanaue. During this, Harley made sure not to wake Arthur up as she knew she could not bring the dragon with her to her world. Thus, she chose to abandon him with a new friend he made.

Upon reaching the gate, the squad got their bomb timers reset. Moments later, Amanda Waller contacted Rick Flag for his report. The squad was shocked to learn that Rick Flag had a radio transmitter with him but waited patiently for his talk to finish. Unfortunately, right after Rick Flag gave Waller the report, Clay Face's bomb blew up. After the squad failed the mission, Waller believed that the members needed to be executed, hence she was set to blow up all of them.

Just then, Rick Flag spotted a new development and asked Waller to give them some more time to finish their mission. In response, Waller gave them an extra 24 hours to succeed in their mission. The squad was surprised to see Rick Flag save them. But this surprise was nothing close to what they felt when they learned that Clay Face wasn't dead and never needed to go along with Amanda Waller's mission.

Suicide Squad Isekai episode 8 later revealed a flashback from two hours before that saw Fione going to her mother to convince her to cancel King Shark's execution. That's when she learned that her mother was seemingly getting controlled by some being.
