Tanjiro from Demon Slayer could make Jujutsu Kaisen's most powerful antagonist a joke

As the protagonist of Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado represents a figure of strong determination and a solid sense of justice, which sets him firmly at a high stature in his world. After defeating the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji, an interesting question arises: Can Tanjiro beat Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses and the most powerful enemy in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Whereas Sukuna possesses different forms of overpowering forces and an intimidating reputation, the unique skills of Tanjiro, which he gathered from dealing with demons, together with his unbeatable spirit, represent a major challenge. Such qualities may help make Tanjiro reduce Sukuna's feared status.

Can Tanjiro from Demon Slayer beat Sukuna, explored

In the world of Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado has several unique characteristics that would help him defeat the King of the Curses, Ryomen Sukuna of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Tanjiro's Water Breathing allows him agile mobility and attacking techniques against the blows of Sukuna. Water Breathing's Eleventh Form: Dead Calm, in particular, can help annihilate Sukuna's raging punches by creating a peaceful space that would dampen Sukuna's speed and strength so Tanjiro could just dodge and attack intelligently.

Tanjiro's Thirteenth Form of Sun Breathing would be a real game changer, providing a good counter to Sukuna's powerful wide-range attacks. Sukuna's Domain Expansion, where he gets his opponent trapped while using the excessive amount of Cursed Energy over them, the Sun Breathing can be brought forth by Tanjiro.

Since Sun Breathing has a purifying and destructive effect against demonic forces, it would allow Tanjiro to break through Sukuna's cursed domain or at least reduce the damage that Tanjiro would take inside this deadly space.

Sukuna's flexibility rests on using Cursed Techniques, such as Cleave and Dismantle, to slice through the enemies. However, Tanjiro's flexibility on the battlefield would eventually allow him to understand these techniques.

Tanjiro's combat intelligence comes in by reading through Sukuna's patterns and switching up his fighting style to evade getting cut down by such techniques. Quick adaptation ensures that every one of Sukuna's attacks becomes ineffective as the battle continues.

In addition, the Hinokami Kagura, or Dance of the Fire God, enables Tanjiro to gain speed and reflexes that surpass that of Sukuna. Attacks by Sukuna are attributed to being incredibly fast and precise.

However, the trance-like state achieved through Hinokami Kagura increases Tanjiro's reflexes as he tries to keep up with or overtake Sukuna. This would allow Tanjiro to ward off the fast uncertainty of Sukuna's blows.

Most importantly, the Sun Breathing technique that the Hinokami Kagura uses possesses inherent strength against demons. With Sukuna being a demonic spirit, Tanjiro's Sun Breathing will result in absolutely massive damage.

As a destructive property made specifically to obliterate demons, the properties of Sun Breathing would be very effective against Sukuna's cursed form. As much as Sukuna can heal severely battered parts of his body, the irresistible force of Sun Breathing could overwhelm his healing power and allow Tanjiro to land fatal hits.

While Sukuna is one of the most powerful villains in Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer's protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, has the potential to beat Sukuna's overwhelming strength into something more manageable.

Tanjiro has perfect mastery over Water Breathing and Sun Breathing and is highly adaptive, besides carrying emotional intellect to his strengths, which can pose serious problems to Sukuna's cursed ability.

Although Sukuna's enormous power and regeneration make him rather an incriminating opponent for Tanjiro, with Tanjiro's robust unyielding determination and distinct combat practices, the feared reputation of Sukuna may be significantly reduced in turn, thus making the King of Curses appear less invincible in the process.
