Tasuketsu, aka Tasūketsu: Fate of the Majority, is a debut series based on the popular manga of the same name, authored and illustrated by Taiga Miyakawa. It began serialization on Comic Smart's Ganma! website in September 2013.
The show debuted as a 7-minute original video animation (OVA) titled Tasuketsu: Judgement Assizes, released in January 2021 under Imagica Lab's production. Now, the ongoing anime has quickly gained attention in the community.

This Summer 2024 anime airs every Wednesday on Nippon TV at 1:59 am in Japan. The release time varies globally, but the English-subtitled version of the episodes is available for most international fans earlier on the release day. The anime began its broadcast on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Two episodes have been released so far, with the third episode scheduled to air on Wednesday, July 16, 2024.

What to expect in Tasuketsu?
The anime unfolds as a suspenseful psychological-thriller-action drama based on a high-stakes survival game. Set in a world where mysterious deaths have occurred, a million survivors in Tokyo are thrust into a survival game orchestrated by a self-proclaimed "Emperor" through anonymous messages. Each day, the game poses a question with a singular rule: the majority side of the answer group dies.
Participants must locate a blue postbox or red laptop to submit their answers and can also gain privileges for advantages. The ultimate prize for the game's winner is a meeting with the Emperor. The narrative focuses on protagonists Saneatsu Narita and Saaya Fujishiro, along with other survivors from their school, as they struggle to stay alive.
However, Saneatsu and Saaya are driven by a singular goal: to exact revenge against the Emperor.
