Tasuketsu episode 1 is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 2:10 am JST. Also known as Tasūketsu: Fate of the Majority, the anime adapts the renowned manga of the same name written and illustrated by Taiga Miyakawa, which began serialization on Comic Smart's Ganma! website in September 2013, consisting of three parts.

Until December 2020, six volumes of the manga have been released by Micro Magazine. The series previously debuted as a 7-minute original video animation (OVA) titled Tasuketsu: Judgement Assizes, produced by Imagica Lab and released in January 2021.

Tasuketsu is set in a world where people have mysteriously vanished. The narrative revolves around a group of five individuals who get summoned by a mysterious figure who calls himself the "Emperor" through anonymous messages. This Emperor initiates a game where these 5 participants must answer the question, "Do you want to live or die?" The game operates under a singular rule: "Majority dies."

This Summer 2024 anime features an array of highly skilled and talented cast and staff members. Tatsuo Sato is in charge of direction and series composition, with character design by Nami Hayashi, while Studio Satellite handles the animation production.
