Dragon Ball has pulled off a very interesting move in the recent Super Hero movie, which was also adapted into the Super manga as a story arc, and gave Gohan as well as Piccolo much-needed power-ups. While some fans have criticized the narrative tools used to raise their power levels, they were happy to see them up there with the likes of Goku and Vegeta. This is why it would make sense to do the same with another fan-favorite, Ten Shin Han.
There is no denying that Ten Shin Han is beloved in the Dragon Ball fandom because of a lot of different reasons, but he has also been mistreated and mishandled since the Z portion of the story.
Therefore, improving him in the coming Super arcs makes sense, not only to bring back a character that is loved by the fandom but also as a way to give humans a major role in the story once again.

Explaining why Ten Shin Han should be the next Dragon Ball character to get the Piccolo treatment
Now that Piccolo and Gohan have returned to the forefront of the franchise in terms of power and can keep up with the likes of Goku and Vegeta, it would make a lot of sense for Ten Shin Han to be the next one to get that treatment. Not only is he arguably the most naturally gifted human when it comes to martial arts, but he is also the most dedicated, having a dojo and training non-stop for decades.
Furthermore, Ten Shin Han is also arguably the character in the series with the most diverse set of abilities and attacks, making him a very entertaining fighter to watch. It was also stated earlier in the series that he is capable of learning any technique by just watching it once, thus highlighting how much of a martial arts genius he is, as was showcased when he learned the Kamehameha during the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai.
He is also a character who has never been afraid of facing enemies far stronger than him, which was shown during the Z portion of the story, when he fought Cell and Buutenks, even if he didn't last very long in those battles. He is thus a very good example of a character who has always tried to help and also has decades of friendship and connection with the likes of Goku, Krillin, and Roshi.
The ups and downs of Ten Shin Han's character
Ten Shin Han is a very good example of wasting characters and power creep in Dragon Ball since the more prominent the Saiyans became in the story, the more other individuals fell to the wayside. Piccolo suffered from this for decades until the Super Hero movie, and despite being one of the most beloved characters in the franchise, it is fair to say that Ten Shin Han has had it even worse.
Once more powerful than Goku and someone strong enough to best him, Ten Shin Han has lost a lot of prominence in the story. However, it would be beneficial for the franchise if he makes a comeback given his long history in the series, his great set of abilities, and even because he holds the title of being the first antagonist that Goku managed to redeem, long before Piccolo and Vegeta.
Final thoughts
If there is a character in the Dragon Ball series that deserves the Piccolo treatment, that is definitely Ten Shin Han. Because of his abilities, his journey throughout the series, and even because of the in-universe dedication he has given to the craft of martial arts.
