The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses follows the story of Hayato Kasukabe, the male protagonist, who returns from Tokyo to inherit his late grandmother's café, Familia Café Terrace. Unfortunately, Hayato shared no emotions with the café as his grandmother did. So, he planned to sell it and convert it into a parking lot.
Before he could do such a thing, he was confronted by the five maids his grandmother hired to run the café. These girls were Riho Tsukishima, Ouka Makuzawa, Ami Tsuruga, Akane Hououji, and Shiragiku Ono, and each one of them had a story of their own.
Looking at how persistent these girls were about retaining the café, Hayato gave them a time limit and challenged them to prove why they should keep the café alive. As the season went by, the male protagonist received flashbacks from his childhood where he saw his grandmother's passion for this café.
The series reached its climax with a customer arriving at the café and questioning its standards. With Hayato's firm support and the girls' resolute belief in the café, they were able to keep Familia Café Terrace alive and running.
