On their journey to Shinano, Tokiyuki, Yorishige, Shizuku, Ayako, and Kojiro stay in an abandoned house due to heavily guarded city exits. As Tokiyuki sleeps, Yorishige watches over him and attempts to kiss him on the cheek, but Tokiyuki avoids it by jumping onto a beam, surprising the others.
