With Yuki Tabata's Black Clover manga switching magazines from Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump to Jump GIGA, most fans were left disappointed. While the fans wanted the manga creator to rest and recover properly, the wait time between two batches of chapters was too long. This effectively saw the casual fans lose interest in the series, leading to a drop in hype.
However, with the release of the latest batch of chapters, it has become very apparent why manga creator Yuki Tabata was wise to leave the weekly manga release schedule. While the new release schedule does have its cons, depending on how one looks at it, the pros may outweigh the cons.

Yuki Tabata's switch to Jump GIGA may have improved Black Clover's artwork
As any Black Clover fan would know, the manga series had great artwork from the start due to the handy work of manga creator Yuki Tabata. However, just as the manga series began its final story arc, the manga creator started facing numerous personal issues surrounding his family.
However, instead of taking a long hiatus, the manga creator kept taking numerous one-week breaks to deal with the same. Such events effectively saw Yuki Tabata struggle to keep up with the tedious weekly manga release schedule. While his artwork was still good, it wasn't as great as it once used to be. Hence, the manga creator finally called it quits and spoke with the Shueisha editors to switch his manga from the Weekly Shonen Jump to the quarterly Jump GIGA magazine.
At first, this was a huge letdown for the fans as the change in the magazine meant that the manga would only release about four chapters in a year. Fortunately, the manga creator found a way to work around it by releasing multiple manga chapters in a single magazine issue.
Even so, the magazine release schedule still bothered fans because no matter how many chapters the manga creator released in a magazine issue, they would still have to wait about three to four months for a batch of chapters to be released.
However, with the latest batch of chapters, it has become very evident why Yuki Tabata was wise to switch to Jump GIGA magazine. As fans may remember, as the end of both Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia manga inched closer, Gege Akutami and Kohei Horikoshi struggled to keep up with the weekly release schedule of the magazine, forcing them to publish short or incomplete chapters.
But unlike them, Yuki Tabata has ample time to work on his manga, meaning that all of his chapters are completed and submitted with the highest quality. This is also evident from the artwork in the latest manga chapters as fans have already begun doubting whether Pierrot would be able to do it justice when they one day adapt the same into the anime.
Thus, even if Black Clover fans have to wait long for its chapters to drop, the sheer art quality of the chapters may see them have the last laugh.
