The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic episode 2 begins with Ken Usato being visited by Kazuki Ryusen and Suzune Inukami. He explained what had happened to him since they split up, fairly optimistic about it and motivated by his training.
Usato then began training with Rose, which saw a relatively easy first-day focus on the basics of mana and magic. He was also told to read up on the basics of the world, such as flora, fauna, kingdoms, and more areas of information.
However, for the next several days, viewers saw him do nothing but run for his training. Excitingly, after a week, he and Rose began sparring for training until Usato learned to use his Healing Magic on command.
Despite this, his training continued to be physically focused. Rose eventually revealed that this focus was so he could run from the enemy and his downed allies as fast as possible to save them. Usato seemingly became more motivated after hearing this.
Kazuki and Suzune then visited Usato after three weeks, where his progress was unbelievable. Army Commander Siglis, the knight accompanying the former pair, critiqued Rose’s training methods until she revealed that Usato would become her right-hand man.
