My Dress-Up Darling chapter 107 commenced where it left off in the previous chapter as Marin told Gojo to stop making cosplay costumes for her. Gojo asked her the reason behind it to which she said that he could have continued pursuing his dream of making Hina Dolls.
She kept insisting that Gojo should have told her she was being a burden, to which Gojo brought the talk about how everyone was saying he had been neglecting his doll-making practice every day for Marin. Gojo cleared the misunderstanding that he cannot always make dolls, and making costumes for Marin was one of the best decisions of his life, which made him a better man.
Marin's eyes were filled with anger after this as she asked about his sad expression during the Winter Comiket when she was surrounded by photographers taking photos of her Haniel cosplay. Unfortunately, he couldn't utter words to explain his feelings, upon which Marin told him to go home.
Gojo resisted revealing his feelings but couldn't hold back. He told Marin how he was jealous of everyone because he wanted Marin to himself and avoid anyone looking at her. While the majority celebrated the ship between Marin and Gojo finally becoming a reality, one part of the fandom appreciated the character development of Gojo who went from a shut-in to a grown-up man brave enough to confess his love.
