Aoi Todo is one of the most outstanding sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. He also proved to be the only character who played an important role in defeating the series' three biggest villains: Mahito, Kenjaku, and Ryomen Sukuna.
Apart from being crucial in these intense battles, Aoi Todo's development of the Boogie Woogie technique, unmatched tactical brilliance, and fearlessness proved essential to his victory.
Todo possesses the unique ability to adapt to situations, even after suffering severe injuries. He also provides significant help to other characters, including Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu. All of these special qualities establish Todo as an exceptional sorcerer in this series.

Aoi Todo's role in Mahito's defeat in Jujutsu Kaisen
Todo's entrance during the Shibuya Incident arc was dramatic, as he arrived just in time to save Yuji Itadori from Mahito. He immediately established his strategic dominance with the use of Boogie Woogie. This technique allowed him to swap places with others, confusing Mahito.
His ability to maintain composure and refocus Yuji's shaken resolve was crucial to their success in this battle. Despite sustaining severe injuries, including losing his hand, Todo continued to fight and manipulate Mahito with brilliant tactical prowess.
In a final deceptive move, Todo pretended to activate Boogie Woogie to distract Mahito, allowing Yuji to land a Black Flash. This blow deeply wounded Mahito physically and mentally. The attack significantly contributed to Mahito's ultimate defeat and solidified Todo's reputation as a key player in defeating one of the series' most dangerous antagonists.
Aoi Todo helped Yuta Okkotsu defeat Kenjaku in Jujutsu Kaisen
Kenjaku was the mastermind behind the Culling Game and the resurrection of Sukuna. He had been devising this plan for over a thousand years and he was a formidable opponent in all aspects. It was only Takaba who could stall Kenjaku for a worthwhile time for Yuta to creep unto him and kill him. Many fans believe that Todo helped Yuta to swap places with Takaba and land the final blow on Kenjaku. Although it was never explicitly stated that Todo was the one to help him, his Boogie Woogie serves as the perfect technique to launch a surprise attack.
Aoi Todo's greatest challenge when facing Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen
Aoi Todo's final, and perhaps most impressive achievement came during the battle against Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses. Alongside Yuji, Todo devised a plan to use his evolved Boogie Woogie technique to counter Sukuna's overwhelming power.
Despite the immense danger posed by Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine, Todo utilized his ability to swap positions with astonishing speed and precision. This allowed him and Yuji to land consecutive blows. His ingenuity in modifying his technique by integrating Mei Mei's crows for additional distractions showed his capacity to outthink even a sorcerer of Sukuna's caliber.
The strategy ultimately forced Sukuna into a defensive posture, a feat achieved only by a few. Although Sukuna was a being of near-absolute power, Todo's quick thinking, unwavering courage, and willingness to sacrifice himself ensured that Yuji could continue the fight. His efforts contributed to Sukuna’s eventual defeat.
This remarkable feat cemented Todo as a sorcerer who not only fought with unrivaled strength but also possessed the intellect and bravery to stand against the greatest curses in the world of jujutsu sorcery.
Final thoughts
By playing key roles in the defeat of Mahito, Kenjaku, and Sukuna, Aoi Todo achieved something no other Jujutsu sorcerer could. He was instrumental in bringing down all three of the series' main antagonists.
