What to expect from Too Many Losing Heroines
Based on the light novel series written by Takibi Amamori and illustrated by Muru Imigi, the anime adaptation is centered around the lonely high school student Kazuhiko Nukumizu, who is the male protagonist of the series. One day, while sitting in the school cafe, Kazuhiko witnessed one of the prettiest girls in the school, Anna Yanami, get rejected by her childhood friend.
After the childhood friend left, in desperation, Anna started to drink through the same straw as her childhood friend. While giving in to her desires, Anna witnessed Kazuhiko looking at her with a questionable expression. She then rushed towards his table and started telling the sad tale of her romance story while eating profusely.
When they were about to leave the cafe, Anna's bill was over the roof, and she had nothing in her purse. So, she asked Kazuhiko to fill in for her and so started the journey of Kazuhiko as Anna repaid the money little by little. While they did this, Kazuhiko encountered Yakishio Lemon and Chika Komari, who were also fighting for their romance.
As of episode 4 of the series, Anna, Yakishio, and Chika have officially lost their romance to some other girl and have become good friends with Kazuhiko. With three beautiful losing heroines in his group of friends, is this a sign for the protagonist to finally take a try at romance?
