Tower of God season 2 episode 12 opens with Wangnan, Akraptor, Yihwa, and Prince arriving at the ruins of the Hand of Arlen, unsure of what transpired there. News reports broadcast Khun as missing, injured, or possibly dead, and that FUG is behind the incident.

Baam's old friends watch the report, which states that the casualties were sacrifices for the birth of a new Slayer Candidate, Viole, and likely is a warning to Regulars preparing for the Workshop Battle. Elsewhere, Rak hears of Khun's supposed death and sets out to uncover the truth.

Meanwhile, inside the golem, Ran and Novick manage to escape the Hand of Arlen's collapse, speculating that Khun may be trapped inside. Xia reveals her plan to crush all other Rankers in the Workshop Battle.

Thus, Ran and Novick prepare to fight her and Cassano. However, Baam intervenes, proposing a deal: he'll join Xia's team and participate in the Workshop Battle if Ran and Novick are also included.

With no other option, Xia agrees. Despite Novick's hesitation, Baam assures them Khun is still alive, and Ran, recalling Baam's desperation during the collapse, chooses to trust him. Thus, Baam forms a new team with Xia, Cassano, Ran, and Novick.

In Tower of God season 2 episode 12, Khun tries to piece together the connection between Baam and Viole, questioning if they're the same person. He wakes up with Yihwa and Wangnan bantering.

Suspicious, he threatens them, demanding to know their identities and intentions. Yihwa asks if Khun knows Viole, prompting him to wonder if they're with FUG.

After confirming they're not, Khun learns they followed Baam's Pocket in search of him and Kang, but found him instead. He takes the Pocket from them, and they join him to check on his team.

They head to Khun's base on the 29th Floor, where they discover Gyetang dead and Dan severely injured. They take him for treatment. After learning that he'll live, Wangnan assures Khun that Viole isn't responsible.

Khun, already aware that it wasn't Viole, suspects Rachel is behind it. Outside the hospital, Khun notes Viole's Pocket is the same A-Rank Pocket Yuri gave Baam.

Realizing Viole has abilities similar to Baam's, he concludes that Viole must be Baam and wonders why he's with FUG instead of returning to his friends.

In the ending scenes of Tower of God season 2 episode 12, Khun reunites with Hwaryun, who confirms that Viole is indeed the 25th Baam. She explains that as a Guide, she can go anywhere and previously became a Regular only for a job.

She also reveals her alliance with FUG, stating they plan to use Baam, as an Irregular, to kill Jahad. They faked his death and reincarnated him as the Slayer Candidate Jue Viole Grace, with her guiding him.

Angry, Khun attacks her, but she easily counters. When he asks about Baam's whereabouts, she admits she doesn't know, as only FUG elders and a few Slayer Candidates orchestrated this plan to bring Baam under their control and have him work with a team they set up.

She mentions that a High Ranker (Jinsung) ensured Baam had some freedom, and so after the Hand of Arlen incident, she was given a choice: Baam would join either the FUG team or his original team, whichever won the Workshop battle.

Thus, she urges Khun to join Wangnan's team to help them win and get Baam back. Initially rejecting her offer, Khun is swayed when Dan, now conscious, pleads with him to assist him in the Workshop battle to prove himself to Rachel.

The episode concludes with Khun accepting Hwaryn's proposal to join Wangnan's team and help them win.
