Tower of God season 2 episode 16 opening events: Wangnan and Khun try rescuing Prince and Miseng while Baam sends Anaak and Ran to Archimedes

Tower of God season 2 episode 16 begins with Verdi toying with the unconscious Miseng and Prince while Wangnan watches from a hidden spot, seeking Khun's advice on how to rescue them.

A brief flashback shows that after Khun sent their teammates to the Archimedes, Wangnan insisted on staying to save Miseng and Prince, eventually persuading Khun to help him.

Back in the present, Khun identifies Verdi the puppet user as Shibisu's teammate and warns Wangnan not to approach. As Khun rushes to their location, a silhouette appears behind him, likely Rak, addressing him as "Blue Turtle."

Meanwhile, the story picks up from the previous episode as Baam intervenes in Anaak and Ran's fight, sending them both to the Archimedes with light shots. Baam then reunites with Novick. It's revealed that Novick was injured during Anaak's clash with Ran.

Xia directs them to the intruders Yuto is dealing with—Shibisu's team, and although Novick considers capturing them since Endorsi isn't around, Baam believes the person he knows must have a plan, leaving Novick wondering who he means.

In Tower of God season 2 episode 16, Baam tasks Novick with a mission while he leaves to assist Yuto, who's battling Shibisu's teammate, Vespa while Shibisu coordinates the attacks. Just as Vespa is about to strike Yuto, Baam enters and saves her.

To avoid being recognized by Shibisu, he masks his face and asks Shibisu to retreat. While Shibisu refuses, Verdi's octopus puts a shinsu-restricting ring on Baam.

Meanwhile, Wangnan notices Verdi's giant octopus is glowing, and Khun instructs him to distract Verdi. While rushing over, Khun spots Horyang also heading that way.

Back at Baam's fight, he struggles against Shibisu's teammates due to the shinsu restriction. Yuto helps but gets poisoned by Vespa while protecting Baam. Vespa reveals that the antidote is in the honey she carries—but refuses to give it to Yuto.

Determined to save his teammate, Baam activates his living ignition weapon, growing a red wing and overpowering his opponents. Baam then proposes a deal: if Shibisu hands over the honey and bullets, he'll let them go. Shibisu, confused by Baam's sudden strength and threat, rethinks his strategy and agrees to his demands.

As Verdi retreats, Wangnan demands Miseng and Prince back, but she refuses, knocks him down, and leaves. Though disappointed, Wangnan reunites with Horyang, but he also shockingly tells him they can no longer be together.

Tower of God season 2 episode 16 closing events: Rak reunites with Khun while Traveler reveals to Endorsi that Viole is actually the 25th Baam

In the closing scenes of Tower of God season 2 episode 16, Baam heals Yuto, Shibisu removes the shinsu-restricting ring from him, and they part ways. Novick arrives, revealing that he sent Reflejo to the Archimedes as per Baam's request, while Khun secretly observes them.

With few boarding passes left, both Baam's and Shibisu's teams head toward Archimedes separately. Khun returns to Wangnan, who's upset about failing to save Miseng and Prince, when a voice from the shadows calls Khun "Blue Turtle," leaving him shocked.
