Tower of God season 2 episode 18 opening events: Prince, Wangnan, and Akraptor confront the out-of-control Miseng
Tower of God season 2 episode 18 begins with a flashback revealing how Miseng turned into a berserk puppet. Verdi had offered both Prince and Miseng power if they became her dolls.
While Prince declined her suspicious offer, Miseng accepted, triggering her berserk state. In the present, Miseng, now extremely powerful, defeats her opponents during the Workshop Battle round 1 and turns on Prince, Wangnan, and Akraptor.
When Wangnan asks if there's a way to stop her, Prince realizes that removing the flowers, which caused her transformation, might work. Though their first attempts fail, Prince persists, confronting her, reminding her of their shared memories, and momentarily distracting her.
Akraptor takes the opportunity to remove the flowers, returning Miseng to normal and allowing the group to move on to the next round.

In Tower of God season 2 episode 18, Shibisu is caught off guard by this unexpected turn in round 1, though Khun is satisfied. Before exiting the arena, Prince and Wangnan spot Baam in the audience and declare their intent to bring him back. Wangnan even claims to crush FUG.
Later, Wangnan and the team worry over Miseng as she faints after regaining control. Verdi reassures them that she'll be fine. The focus then shifts to the next round, where Horyang, Goseng, and Chang are in one group, while Yihwa and Quaetro are in another.
Yama's mad dog, Varagarv, also debuts in a separate group, showing a glimpse of his abilities by defeating an opponent without lifting a finger or using Shinsu. His gaze then falls on Baam in the audience.
A flashback shows Reflejo explaining Varagarv's history to Baam: once a prized fighter in Slayer Baylord Yama's secret fighting ring, Varagarv was one of three fighters selected to undergo tests as Regulars to assess their strength.
He soon earned the title of the strongest E-Rank Regular. However, he abruptly stopped climbing the Tower and cut ties with FUG. Now, he despises FUG and has joined the Workshop Battle to eliminate Viole, the new Slayer Candidate.
Meanwhile, Hatz manages to break free with Emile's assistance, finding a path to escape. As the first-round matches continue, Baam is reminded by Novick to hold back.
However, when his competitors start idolizing him in the arena, Baam—unwilling to become their subject of worship and determined to move forward on his own terms—defeats them all to advance.
