Tower of God season 2 episode 17 was titled Funky. The episode commenced with Khun and Wagnan standing before Rak who sent them to the Workshop Battle. Rak was angry with Khun because he hadn't informed Rak of Bam being alive and for this, these two started a fight after Wagnan left them alone in a room.

On the other hand, players were being introduced with the highlight being Viole, Endorsi Jahad, and the strongest E-rank Regular of the Tower. A focus was put on Endorsi who was to be awarded something by the Workshop Battle officials for catching the intruder (the Traveler), but things could have turned out differently as the Traveler requested her help.

The focus then turned toward the Arm Devils who were entering a facility while Hatz followed them. When they entered a room, they saw Dr Sophia, who took care of them when they were little. Ilmar hugged her after crying while someone caught Hatz. Hatz was then trapped inside a trap until the Workshop battle settled after which Dr Sophia introduced the devils to Emile, her latest project.

On the other hand, the Workshop battle had started and its first game was the flag game where three players, out of eight, would secure their flags to win the game. Prince and Miseng were selected for this round so Wangnan rushed to ensure their well-being. However, Prince looked beat-up and Miseng had changed as she looked angry over something.

Tower of God season 2 episode 18 is titled The Mad God and the Lizard. As indicated by the climax of the previous episode, the next episode will see the flag game commence and reveal Miseng's new potential.

Miseng and Prince were caught by someone from Khun's party a few episodes before and this could be the reason behind Miseng's personality change. It will be interesting to see if Miseng will attack her old friends in her new persona.
