Tower of God season 2 episode 20 was titled Like A Flame In The Wind. The episode commenced where it left off in the previous one as Rak refused to let go of Viole. As they were creating a scene, Endorsi grabbed hold of Rak and left before promising Viole a date after the Workshop battle concluded. Viole then reported his situation and thanked Novick for covering.

The next day, round 2 of the Workshop battle commenced where two teams (Team FUG and Team Mad Dog) competed against each other for points and whoever won from both teams would compete for the final grand prize. Wangnan was chosen as the representative of his team, and Viole finally started his plan to go against FUG and leave the group.

While Wangnan faced difficulty against his opponents, Viole entered a cave (which he was guided by Beta in the previous episode) looking for the Thorn. Wangnan eventually evaded his situation and won the round, qualifying to enter the final round. He then called his other teammates as everyone got ready for the final stretch of the Workshop Battle.

On the other hand, Viole had reached the Thorn and Beta popped out of nowhere. Beta then revealed the truth of the Workshop Battle, about how the officials started human experimentation a few years ago. They wanted to acquire a devil that could activate the Thorn and, according to Beta, that devil was the one that resided inside Viole. Beta then stabbed Viole in the heart.
