Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy season 2 episode 20 opening events: Makoto gains the favor of Limia and Gritonia

Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy season 2 episode 20 begins with the King of Limia and Princess Lily of Gritonia pleading for Makoto’s help to teleport them back to their capitals, which are under demon attack. Makoto and Tomoe fabricate a plan to gain their favor, with Tomoe pretending her sword is exhausted from previous teleportation.

Desperate, the King and Princess beg Makoto to convince Tomoe, promising rewards while also threatening him. Makoto agrees, and Tomoe teleports the nobles, shattering her fake sword afterward. The hyumans pity her sacrifice, while Tomoe ponders their naivete.

The narrative then shifts to Makoto and Shiki’s conversation. Shiki deduces that the demons’ true target must be Limia’s hero, Hibiki, as Hibiki’s natural charm to attract followers poses a greater threat to the demons than Gritonia’s hero, Tomoki, who relies on fake charm to manipulate others.

Makoto expresses a desire to help the hyumans but faces a dilemma, noting that due to their previous ploy, they can’t teleport there to assist. The episode then shows Luto remarking on the state of affairs, noting that things are going well for Kuzunoha while expressing skepticism, as Makoto typically isn’t lucky.

At that moment, a light appears in the sky, and Luto comments on the Goddess’ arrival.

In Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy season 2 episode 20, the Goddess’ light envelops Makoto and Shiki, attempting to teleport them forcibly. Makoto resists, but Shiki advises against being seen by hyumans while defying the Goddess, so Makoto relents.

They are transported to the Goddess’ chambers. Makoto tries to strike her, revealing her presence. The Goddess orders Makoto to assist the hero in Limia against the demons, but he refuses, threatening to ally with the demons due to his hatred for her.

The Goddess tries to intimidate him, but he calmly counters her. Enraged, she moves to punish him but is interrupted by her underling, who reports a visitor from the “original world”.

Panicked, the Goddess proposes a deal: she will not interfere with Makoto as long as he doesn’t oppose hyumans aggressively. In return, he has to save Limia’s hero and reclaim Fort Stellar. Makoto finds this insufficient, so she asks what reward he wants.

As Makoto is unsure what to ask for, she prepares to dismiss him. Shiki then suggests granting Makoto the ability to speak the “common” language. However, her blessing causes Makoto intense pain. After he recovers, she teleports them to Limia, warning that failure to protect Limia's hero and retake Fort Stellar will result in his death.
