Jin discreetly admires Giichi while he changes clothes, and later arrives late to class, an unusual occurrence for him.

When his friends express concern, Jin reassures them and takes charge of the film club's responsibilities, especially as others are distracted by college entrance exams. Watching Giichi interact with other second-year club members, Jin feels envious watching them from afar, admitting the anxiousness about their school life ending.
