Twilight Out of Focus episode 6 begins with Jin grappling with his growing feelings for Giichi, questioning if it's love. After dreaming of a BL manga scene with Giichi, he wakes up and secretly admires Giichi as he changes clothes, making Jin late for class, which is unusual for him. As the responsible club president, Jin takes charge while other members are preoccupied with college entrance exams.

Observing a carefree Giichi with other second-years, Jin feels anxious about his school life ending. Later, at the dorm, Jin is charmed by Giichi’s blushing reaction to his reading of BL manga dialogues, realizing how much he enjoys discovering this side of Giichi. However, he's still uncertain about Giichi’s intense passion for films.

Later, when Tobe, a third-year club member, decides to quit, Jin tries to convince him to stay, but Giichi intervenes, lashing out at Tobe and criticizing Jin's leadership. Jin acknowledges his shortcomings as a director, revealing his plan to quit filmmaking after graduation and banning any film-related discussions in their room.

When Giichi asks why, Jin confesses his feelings and abruptly leaves, leaving Giichi bewildered. Later, Giichi reflects on Jin's confession and following Teru’s advice, tries to apologize but struggles. The next day, Inaba advises Giichi to go easy on Jin, but he defends Jin, blaming the other members for ruining Jin's scripts and asserting that he truly understands him as a fellow director.

Inaba realizes that Giichi's feelings for Jin are mutual and encourages him to express his respect for Jin as a director. That night, Giichi attempts to bring up the topic, but Jin dodges it, playfully teasing Giichi by saying his persistence is a turn-on. This leads to a tender moment, culminating in Jin kissing Giichi, who is moved to tears. Their moment is cut short by a call for Jin.

After he leaves, Giichi discovers an old photo under Jin's bed, recognizing himself as a child standing next to a chubby boy (likely Jin). The episode ends with Giichi pondering the identity of the other boy in the picture.
