Jujutsu Kaisen has made a lot of noise online recently because of the revelation of Yuta Okkotsu taking over Satoru Gojo's body. This has brought a very unique theme to light as to how Gojo's students have become mirror images of his personal enemies. This revelation didn't seem very obvious at first, but it now shows a very interesting detail that author Gege Akutami has developed.
Some Jujutsu Kaisen fans have noticed how Yuji Itadori has become similar to Ryomen Sukuna, Yuta Okkotsu to Kenjaku, and Maki Zen'in to Toji Fushiguro. These characters were all enemies of Gojo in some shape or form. This detail could be a coincidence, especially considering that Gojo had other students, but it is worthy enough to analyze in connection to the story.

Explaining how three of Satoru Gojo's students have become mirror images of his enemies in Jujutsu Kaisen
An X user pointed out how three of Satoru Gojo's students, Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, and Maki Zen'in, have become mirror images of his enemies. This is further emphasized by an image that shows how Yuji has turned into Sukuna, Yuta into Kenjaku, and Maki into Toji Fushiguro.
Yuji's case is due to him learning most of Sukuna's techniques, and the two being related (Sukuna is Yuji's Uncle), as shown in the recent chapter. On the other hand, Yuta has taken over Gojo's body, much like Kenjaku has done throughout the centuries.
Meanwhile, Maki has become physically similar to Toji and even wields his sword, They are alike to the point Maki punishes the Zen'in clan after mistreating them for not having Cursed Energy. While these characters are not actually villains, they have become quite similar to Gojo's enemies.
It is also worth pointing out that this storyline focuses on Maki, Yuta, and Yuji since they are the three most prominent students Gojo has had. However, it ignores cases such as Megumi Fushiguro and Kinji Hakari, among others, who are also important characters in their own right and close to Gojo in some shape or form.
What could happen in the coming chapters?
It is almost certain that the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen chapters are going to show Yuta, now in Satoru Gojo's body, fighting against Ryomen Sukuna and getting a clearer perspective of the remaining sorcerers' current state. Aoi Todo mentioned how they were all removed by Yuji Itadori and Sukuna from the battlefield so that the plot point could be addressed.
Moreover, chapter 262 shows Yuta being overpowered by Sukuna and the final page is a cliffhanger of Rika crying while holding the former's original body. Therefore, there is a very good chance that the next chapter is going to address that while perhaps also giving Yuta a few moments to display his use of Gojo's body.
There is another issue of Hakari's battle with Uraume, which has become a running meme in the fandom thus far. It is because Akutami has not given a lot of updates regarding this battle and some fans have made jokes about it, saying that the author has forgotten about it.
Final thoughts
Jujutsu Kaisen author Gege Akutami has added an interesting detail by depicting how Satoru Gojo's students have become mirror images of his enemies. Even though this aspect doesn't make a major difference in the story, it serves as a fun detail for those who are intrigued by the varied themes of this series.
