Undead Unluck chapter 217 began with a flashback to Sean pointing out to Fuuko that using Remember would solve all of the major issues with Tatiana’s tragedy. Fuuko began answering, but focus returned to the present. Fuuko began explaining what was happening to Tatiana for her, and also explaining what would happen to the venue if Tatiana wasn’t able to calm down and get control of her power.

Tatiana began lamenting that this is not just happening to her, but happening to her on the day of her dream performance. In turn, this intensified Untouchable’s power, prompting Fuuko to tell Sean to let go of her, which would result in her being crushed. Fuuko then explained her Unluck ability to Tatiana and recapped the friendship they had. Fuuko’s nose began to be shaved off as she explained there is an easier way, but she wanted Tatiana to achieve her dreams.

Fuuko said this was her way of repaying Tatiana as her best friend, causing Tatiana to finally calm down emotionally and in turn gain control over Untouchable. Billy then told Julia to “hit it,” causing Nico’s sphere for Tatiana to be deployed. However, the sphere then morphed into a hologram of Tatiana in an extravagant outfit, allowing her to achieve her dreams and be seen on the runway by all. The issue ended with everyone reuniting backstage as emotional wrecks.

With Tatiana’s tragedy negated, Fuuko has officially completed her perfect Union and successfully prevented each member’s Negator tragedy from taking place. Likewise, Undead Unluck chapter 218 should see the full Union reunite at the round table, at which point they’ll likely begin taking turns using Remember to regain their memories.

This will almost certainly lead to some skirmishes breaking out considering the relationships some current Union members had in previous loops like the 100th and prior. However, this knowledge will also bring with it visions of the battle at the loop’s end, which combined with Fuuko’s guidance should see the perfect Union ready to work together.
