A quick summary of Under Ninja episode 3
The previous episode began with Kuro severely injuring the leader of the Rear-Enders' leader by gouging her eyes and breaking her arm, which swiftly brought their battle to an end. The story then flashed back to July 24, when Kuro tasked a high schooler with keeping an eye out for the foreigner. This student, in turn, asked a young girl named Junna to help him.
Kuro was then shown spending time with Kawado. Although he did not disclose that he was a ninja, he did discuss some of his issues, such as his aversion to obtaining a job. Despite not earning a regular income, he had managed to avoid starvation, thanks to his landlady. However, since she became bedridden, Kuro was forced to seek alternatives.
Kuro did not have to worry about paying rent since he was staying in Ono's guest room. They had met when Kuro saved Ono from a group of middle schoolers, and that is how they ended up living together.
Kawado slipped while climbing down from the rooftop where they were sitting and drinking, and Kuro instinctively jumped after her. Luckily, Kuro's hoodie had an airbag, which cushioned their fall.
In the present, as the Rear-Enders deliberated their next moves, following their leader's defeat, Suzuki swiftly incapacitated all of them. It was revealed that Suzuki had graduated as the top student from the Ninja Technical School's Kunoichi Program and was the first to engage the foreigner.
The story then returned to July 25, when Junna had successfully tracked down the foreigner and took him to see the high school student. Suzuki, who happened to be at the same location, discovered this and pursued the foreigner. Using her invisibility suit, she managed to get close to the foreigner but failed to take him down with a taser.
The foreigner then shot Suzuki at point-blank range. While her suit was bulletproof, the impact left her unable to stand. As the foreigner prepared to fire another shot and Suzuki readied herself to counterattack, Hiba arrived on the scene.
What to expect from Under Ninja episode 4?
Under Ninja episode 4 will most likely focus on Hiba and the foreigner's fight.
It remains to be seen when Kuro enters the fight scene, as he is the one who is said to have taken the foreigner down. This implies that Hiba will most likely be defeated, although the battle scenes might be spectacular.
