Unnamed Memory season 2 episode 2 will air on Tuesday, January 14, 2024, at 11:30 pm JST. The most recent episode was about the reunion between Tinasha and Oscar, although the latter has no memories of the time they spent together in the previous season, making this one feel like a reboot of sorts for the series.

The vast majority of the episode heavily focuses on their relationship, how Oscar feels a bit uncomfortable regarding how he is treated by her, and the latter's feelings playing a role in her attempts to free him from this curse. Unnamed Memory season 2 episode 2 is going to continue in this direction while introducing new enemies for the kingdom of Farsas.

Recap of the previous episode

This 2025 winter anime starts with Oscar and his men heading to the kingdom of Tuldarr and engaging with their ruler, with the protagonist stating that he wants to find a cure for the curse. He is sent to the lower depths of the castle, which leads to her meeting Tinasha for the first time in this season and also getting the loyalty of the dragon Nark.

This time around, while Tinasha retains her abilities and magic from centuries ago, her title as a witch has changed to a degree, although she is still deeply in love with Oscar. The bulk of the episode is spent with her trying to find a cure for him while they struggle with their feelings since the protagonist feels that she thinks of someone else when looking at him.

While this episode did lack the comedic angle that is a part of the story, it did feature some compelling moments as Oscar and Tinasha displayed their respective abilities when dealing with a magician who attacked them. They also spent the day in the streets of Farsas together when they were attacked once again, although Tinasha managed to defeat them with ease, leading to a final conversation between them and the witch lamenting the lost memories.

Unnamed Memory season 2 episode 2 is to serve more of this fantasy anime as Oscar and Tinasha try to find a cure for the former's curse. Moreover, it is also likely that both of their nations' politics and possible enemies play a role in what is going to be shown in the following episode.
