Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265 was released on August 5, 2024, in Japan. The chapter showcased Yuji's Domain which took over the internet after the spoilers for the chapter were unveiled. Naruto fans entered the conversation and compared Yuji's feat to their protagonist's Talk no Jutsu.

As the Jujutsu Kaisen protagonist's domain mainly consisted of him having a conversation with the antagonist using different sceneries as a medium, the domain could be considered similar to Naruto's Jutsu. However, a part of the former fandom was not ready to admit that their protagonist's domain could be similar to Naruto's Talk no Jutsu.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265 featured Yuji's domain, which wasn't in its purest form. The domain showed different sceneries through which Itadori and Sukuna traveled while the protagonist shared his life story.

The majority of the chapter was focused on Itadori and Sukuna's journey through the domain as the protagonist kept sharing his life story. This made the fandom of Naruto state the domain of Itadori Yuji was similar to their protagonist's Talk no Jutsu.

Talk no Jutsu is an unofficial jutsu technique where Naruto Uzumaki talks to his opponents and convinces them to stop doing wrong. As Itadori's domain was also a talk between him and Sukuna that ended with him threatening the antagonist, these two could be considered similar.

Reactions from the fandom

On one hand, one part of the fandom was not ready to admit that their protagonist had the same domain effects as Talk no Jutsu was just a fan-made thing and didn't have enough potential to defeat the opponents.

The reason behind this could be that Naruto has hardly ever defeated any opponents and has always resorted to this jutsu. As Itadori had the intention to kill Ryomen Sukuna in his domain, fans didn't consider Talk no Jutsu a valid explanation for Yuji's domain.

"The “Talk No Jutsu” is already a large misconception so I don’t take those too seriously. The bigger picture is that Yuji is no longer in this “just a clog” mindset." a fan said.
"Yuji is not doing Talk no Jutsu He standing on business" another one said.
"They calling it talk no jutsu when yuji is literally dead set in killing sukunas now that he knows sukuna does know about things like humanity and love and just doesn’t care" another fan said.

On the other side, one part of the fandom had another opinion and focused on the first part of the protagonist's domain, which consisted of him talking with Sukuna and looking for some sort of virtue inside him, eventually claiming that the domain of Itadori could be similar to Talk no Jutsu.

"This chapter was pretty good I’m excited for the next People get mad at Naruto for “talk no jutsu” but this is exactly how Naruto would talk to antagonists before beating the breaks off them Yuji Itadori you have moved me" a fan said.
"Is Naruto seriously going to pass down talk no jutsu to Yuji" another fan said.

Final thoughts

The Talk no Jutsu was a prequel to Naruto Uzumaki beating his opponents after he confirmed that there was no chance of his opponent having an ounce of guilt inside them.

Itadori could be doing the same, as Jujutsu Kaisen is inspired by famous Shounen series like Naruto. Chapter 265 ended with Sukuna admitting that he felt nothing from Itadori's words, and this was followed by Itadori claiming that he would defeat Sukuna because he didn't see any hope inside the antagonist.
