The user of the Egg-Egg Fruit will only be able to transform after receiving a hit powerful enough to bring them to the brink of death. The Jacket-Jacket Fruit allows the user to transform into a jacket of human skin that others can wear. The wearer of the jacket becomes controlled by the jacket itself, thus enabling the Jacket-Jacket Fruit user to gain access to the former’s powers, techniques, and physical abilities at will.

It remains unclear if the wearer can choose to be taken over by the Devil Fruit user or if they get no choice in the matter. Regardless of the size difference between the wearer and the user, the latter will turn into a custom-fit jacket, with their skin conforming to the host. The user will also retain the ability to speak, taking over the wearer completely.

In One Piece, Kelly Funk uses this Devil Fruit to become a jacket. He has his absent-minded brother Bobby wear him in order to use his tough physique and brute strength.
