Events of Tenjiku Arc final chapter

After being hit by the truck, Kisaki lies at the intersection; his broken body makes it impossible for him to stand up. Kisaki cries out in pain and helplessness and declares that he does not want to die. Mikey and Hina catch up, and Mikey asks what happened as his body goes still. A tired Hanma explains on a nearby street that he lost to Draken, but Kisaki should have made his getaway by now.

Kisaki's death puts an end to the Kanto Incident. Emma Sano, Izana Kurokawa, and Tetta Kisaki are the three people who have died, and the other five members of S-62 are under arrest. It is left to the Kanto Incident participants to ponder over what happened.

Takemichi pays Kakucho, who is alive after being shot, a visit in the hospital the next day. Takemichi reminds Kakucho that Izana saved him and that he would not sleep well knowing that Kakucho hated being alive. Kakucho says, "It's always me who survives."

Kakucho says that Tenjiku's dreams are no longer possible because of the deaths of Izana and Kisaki. Takemichi, however, informs Kakucho that Tenjiku's destiny still rests with him; he claims that even though Kisaki died, defeating his opponent, the agony of seeing Kisaki's death has left him shaking.
