Explaining what happened to Sero in My Hero Academia final chapter
Sero is one of the supporting characters of My Hero Academia who was a part of Class 1-A when the class was assembled. He had an interesting Quirk that allowed him to produce tape from the joints of his arms. Excess use of this Quirk would make his skin dry, and he worked on this weakness before the final war started.
During the final war arc, Sero wasn't involved in the main battles and was on the sidelines, handling the small villain. However, after Aizawa arrived at the final fight against TomurAFO with the U.A. students, Sero's speech scored a momentary spotlight where the fandom expected him to shine. Things didn't go as fans expected but Sero did his best during the war.
According to the spoilers of My Hero Academia final chapter, some of the heroes from Class A diverted from their pathways as full-time heroes and invested their time in other activities.
Shoji Mezo, known as Tentacole, was rewarded with various accolades for his services regarding the rights of the heteromorphs, but he still retained his identity as a hero. He didn't stop after his fight against Spinner during the final war and continued spreading awareness afterward.
Ingenium (Ida Tensei), Creati (Yaoyorozu Momo), Froppy (Asui Tsuyu), and Uravity (Uraraka Ochaco) were visiting grade schools all around Japan, spreading awareness regarding Quirks under Uraraka's Quirk Counselling Expansion Project. Uraraka fits this description because of her speech during the Dark Deku arc, where she convinced others of Deku's innocence.
Bakugo and Todoroki were fighting for the #1 spot as the former was at this spot currently. However, due to his rowdy behavior, there were chances of him being demoted as Todoroki was a very peaceful person compared to Bakugo. Lastly, Izuku Midoriya completely abandoned his hero career because he only had some embers of One For All left and became a teacher at U.A. High School.
Unfortunately, nothing was revealed regarding the plans of the other students, one of which was Hanta Sero. However, the last panel of the chapter features a two-panel where all the heroes of Class A were drawn and one of these was Hanta Sero in his hero costume. So, what happened to Sero in My Hero Academia final chapter?
This confirmed that Sero continued his journey as a hero who didn't compete for the top-rated positions in My Hero Academia final chapter. Similarly, everyone else whose story wasn't formally mentioned in the chapter continued their hero career, helping citizens who needed a hand in any way possible.
